Menu — What's on Tonight's Table

Supper from five, built around what the river district grows and catches, booked apart from the cards.

The Menu

What's on Tonight's Table

Supper runs from five, a short list that leans on what the river district actually grows and catches rather than anything flown in.

Starters and soup first, a handful of mains, then something sweet if there's room left.

The dining room takes its own bookings, entirely separate from a seat at the cards through the back.

A single card table at Wattle Harbours House, chips stacked and ready for play.

Starters & Soup

Pumpkin soup, or yabbies with garlic and bread.

Mains

Murray cod, or local lamb with river greens.

Sweets

Sticky date pudding, or a slice of lamington.

How to Book a Table for Dinner

Ring the house or leave a message online to hold a table — supper bookings run separately from the card room's own list.

Tables are held until quarter past the booked time; after that they go back on the floor for walk-ins.

A dinner booking doesn't hold a seat at the cards — ask for both if you want them, they're arranged apart.

The bill for supper is settled at the table before you head through to the card room, not added to any evening's chips.
